- American Dreams Project introduction and overview; partner setup; begin research.
- Working on your own or collaborating with a partner, produce a short, documentary-style film on the concept of the American Dream as it's been portrayed through multiple time periods, mediums, and perspectives--including your own.
- To be successful in this endeavor, you and your partner will need to draw upon your skills in research, theme analysis and explication, and media/presentation literacy. I'll guide you through using the production and voiceover tools, but you'll need to supply the creativity and ingenuity in using them.

- Tip: Approach the project as you would an essay or presentation on the theme/subject of the "American Dream." Your job is the same but with the added benefit of editing and audio/visual enhancements: inform us of what each source has to say about the subject and expand with your own analysis/commentary.
- Research day / Project pitches (10 points): show and summarize sources' commentary on Am. Dream
